Thoughts and Feelings of a Freezing Cold and Friendless Fairy

That moment when you spend ALL week looking forward to going out of town to visit your besties and then you get a winter weather alert that winter storm Electra is blowing through town. Too bad it's not a storm of bar glitter falling from the sky instead of sleet, snow and ice am I right or am I right? 

So now what? Do you go? Do you not go? You sit by the window and wish the falling flakes of snow away. Of course Electra wouldn't ever to think of coming during the week when you have no plans other than going to work, that would make too much sense. I guess this is what we get for living in the Midwest (or in the South too for once!) and note to self: you can never make plans and look forward to them between the months of December - March (oh who are we kidding more like November - April).
